Substance use disorders have a way of sneaking into someone's life and completely taking over. You can take back control of your life with substance use treatment designed specifically for you. And because substance use disorders often come hand-in-hand with many mental illnesses, which we call co-occurring disorders, there are special treatment options to help with both at the same time.
You or your loved one will work with a treatment team to help create a unique plan designed around goals that you choose.
If you are struggling to decide whether you should seek treatment, you can take our confidential online mental health screening, which may help you determine whether what you or a loved one is experiencing might be signs of substance use disorder.
Take your first steps toward recovery by calling us at 517.789.1200 or the Mid-State Health Network Access Line at 844.405.3095.
If you have private insurance or are not eligible to receive services at LifeWays, you can either call the number listed on the back of your insurance card for information about substance use providers in your network or you can call Central Michigan 2-1-1 who may also be able to assist you in finding a substance use provider.
If you're ready to take the first steps toward recovery, you can call us at 517.789.1200 and talk with one of our staff members about whether you might be eligible to receive services from us. We may even be able to help you apply for Medicaid or Healthy Michigan Plan.
Regardless of your insurance, if you are in crisis, are having suicidal thoughts, or are thinking of harming yourself or others, please call our 24-Hour Crisis Line at 1.888.284.8288 or walk into our Access Center during business hours.
